We host unique Pop up dinners around Boston and New England. These dinners assist our organization to raise funds for our projects in Kenya but also give us the opportunity to tell our story and connect with like minded folks. Our Pop up dinner events incorporate 4 main components, i.e. Food, Talk, Music & Networking, as seen in the video below.

Food: We create unique African fusion menus using 100% organic and local ingredients. Whenever possible, we are open in doing live demos and we also welcome guests and volunteers to cook with us. We explain our recipes in detail as well as the history of the dishes on the menu. We are currently seeking bonafide home cooks and chefs from different ethnic backgrounds to showcase different cuisines from around the world. To apply to be a guest chef or home cook please click here.

Talk: We host and introduce very interesting guest speakers to our events, speakers who connect well with food enthusiasts.

Music: We also have connections with amazing local, and international musicians, who believe in our work and partner with us at our events to create a feel good vibe as well as facilitate interactions among dinner guests.

Networking:
We curate short specific informal Q & A topics during the event, we find that these topics help “break the ice’ and make interactions among our guests enjoyable, interesting and hopefully generate meaningful future connections.

Arts: In the past we have also hosted visual artists as speakers and we have showcased their art work too. We are planning on having an artist series during our spring calendar.
